I am too tired to find mine right now, but it involves men laying in wait to attack and rape sisters going to dance at a circuit assembly. I think the purpose was to find even more wives for the tribe of Benjamin. Great plan God.

OT stuff always weirded me out more than NT stuff, until I found out we have a totally fraudulant NT version, compete with the name Jehovah spuriously inserted 237 times, along with many other spurious verses.

    (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

I wonder how many innocent women (or children) were forced to marry some creap who raped her because of this "divine justice".

On a related note, something else I find disturbing (Not a scripture, but the lack of one.) is that there is no biblical law against pedophilia. At all.

If you can get the fathers permission, you can marry a 5 year old girl for all Yahweh cares. (Or you could rape her and pay for her later, without anyone's permission. That's also allowed.)

    Two-for-one:

    Isaiah 13:18

And [their] bows will dash even young men to pieces. And the fruitage of the belly they will not pity; for sons their eye will not feel sorry.

    Isaiah 14:21

Make ready, YOU men, a slaughtering block for his own sons because of the error of their forefathers, that they may not rise up and actually take possession of the earth and fill the face of the productive land with cities.

Okay scholars, help me out. I addressed this scripture to my step-mother once and she had no answer for me.

The two angels come the man's home and the men of the city said to send them out so that they may have sex with them. The man either sends his concubine or daughter out and she is raped until dead. Praise Jah!

(Genesis 38:24) However, about three months later it happened that it was told to Judah: "Ta´mar your daughter-in-law has played the harlot, and here she is also pregnant by her harlotry." At that Judah said: "BRING her out and let her be burned."

    Judges 19:

19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
19:23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
19:24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
19:25 But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
19:26 Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.
19:27 And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.
19:28 And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.
19:29 And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.
    Lovely little story eh?

Judges 19:11-30 - I think this is the one you're thinking of.

Lore - I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.
