Who is GUILTY for the JW's killed in the concentration camps?

  Obviously the Nazi's hold bloodguilt in part for the JW's who died in the concentration camps.

  But unlike Jews who could not change who they were, could not become un-Jew and would have been killed anyways, JW's were often offered release if they renounced their faith as a JW.

  Since it is obviously a FALSE teaching they were led to believe - that their eternal salvation rested on being & staying a JW - does the Governing Body (leadership) hold some bloodguilt, are they accountable in some way, for the atrocities that fell upon JW's?

  Or is it merely a principle thing - that no matter what religion/belief was held, one should not be asked to give it up at the whim of a dictator?

  Does the individual JW hold any fault based on whether they refused to sign over principle of freedom of belief or whether it was fear of losing their salvation by leaving a certain denomination?

  WTS President Joseph Franklin Rutherford was the guiltiest. He orchestrated the letter-writing campaign to Hitler's headquarters in Berlin from JW's the world over, telling him to stop the persecution of JW's or his Nazi Party would be destroyed by Jehovah. This campaign infuriated Hitler, who pounded his fist on the table and said "this brood (JW's) must be exterminated from Germany!".

  JF Rutherford poured fuel on the fire of hatred, knowing full well it could have bad consequences for his followers (Joe's Witnesses) there. The bastard didn't give a damn. He wanted the confrontation and attention.

  Apparently it worked, because there were many more JW's in post-war Germany than there were before the war. Rutherford didn't live to see that happen, however.

  Joseph Ratherflawed - they were not allowed to Heil Hitler but they were allowed to lick Joes ass -and today you are allowed to kiss and lick the ass of GB members and get your nose nice and brown - but you were not allowed to say "Heil Hitler"

  The people who did the killing hold the blame. Just because the Witnesses were unpopular isn't a valid reason to kill them. Murder is murder.

  All I can say is that the WTS from Rutherford to this day lie to and use their followers as a front to attract new recruits in their org.
  
  The point is that the WTS does not hold itself to the same high standards that it expects from its followers. And it doesn't really care about high moral principles except when it can use them to profit.
  
  Have in mind that had those dubs that got gassed by Hitler been around today they would shun and harbour deep animosity towards anyone that disagreed with their leaders.
