A) that he needs your dollar bills to achieve his plans for the universe

B) the guy asking for the money "on gods behalf" is a bit of a dick

There is no doubt that a God that can make bread rain from heaven, should be able to provide financially. However, there is not much evidence, backed by any approval of Jesus or God, that church goers are supposed to support an organized religion. When the Jews gave things to build the first arc of the covenant, they gave freely, to the point that God had to ask them to stop. Most religions, however, conveniently leave that part out. In the first century congregation, since there was no official meeting place, anything they gave, was to support each other and those who dedicated their life to preaching. There is no evidence that this was always in the form of money and that it was somewhat perpetual giving.

C.O.'s should save the Org and all the Circuits a load of money by following Paul's example and work for their own daily needs - car, accommodation, food, etc. - rather than being company parasites who get everything for free, plus cash-in-hand at every KH they visit - from admiring elderly ones!

Bible says money is the root of all evil and yet JW can't work with out it.

If the bible is real it is for small christian groups that do their best to live by it's standards how fits their conscience. None of this multimillionaire organization printing it's own materials telling you what is wrong and right.

If judgment day comes Jw and groups like them will be saying "look at the powerful works we preformed in your name" while the small humble christian groups are saved and people just trying to be good all around.
