Why just JW's? Theres only 125,000 of them. Unless they are all on benefits??
If the system collapsed millions of non-JW's would be affected.

A helluva lot of them would have to get off their pioneering backsides and work proper jobs and hours like the rest of us do.
No longer would the social security system prop up their door knocking.

It means that those using the system to sustain themselves and pioneer instead of working will have to retreat on that give up pioneering and start working seriously.

Hi Badboy,
You have made a good point .This would apply to all those JW's who have spent all their lives condemming " this system of things" and have not provided means of support for themselves and now find themselves surprise, surprise ,with out the New World to shelter them.So who are all those JW's going to call ,Social Security of course. They will assist them into a Jah Jirah home by paying their costs.
The money provided by the state has obviously come from the hard working tax payer so the very people they have condemmed to death and destruction are now supporting them.There's irony for you.
It's a good a thing that everybody in the country hasn't been a Witless or where would we all be now? It's a good thing too that if we were all Witlesses and we all needed a blood transfusion we would all be dead, the country would be empty. Bringing the argument to it's ultimate conclusion illustrates the futility of their barmy reasoning
Obviously there are many, many people in the U.K. who need support at times also in their old age but at least they haven't gone around telling the rest of us that we are doomed.

Remember that the social security system is paid for by those who are working, through taxes.
If it collapsed it would mean that either the administartion side had failed, or that there was not enough taxes being collected to sustain it.
Therefore that would mean that there must be a lot of people out of work to begin with.

They would probably think they were being persecuted by Satan and they would use it as a further sign that we are in the 'Last Days'.
