Is it hard for you to make friends? Yes because I don't let people get close. People WANT to be my friend, but I won't let them.

WHAT? Baby gal! I hate that I have to go to work, but I had some other responses prepared to different posters and about passed out when I read this. What is it Ms D? Talk to us. What can we do?
Do you have a magnetic personality? I wouldn't say so.
Does everyone want to invite you to their party? No and I rarely accept when asked.
Are you a loner? To the point of being a hermit. I have a job which allows me to work from home.
Is it hard for you to make friends? In real life, yes. I've built a wall around myself to protect me from being hurt.
Do you think you'd be greatly missed if you no longer were around? I think the only ones who would notice would be my creditors and the mailman.
I think we have all thought of "stopping the world & getting off at times. "
But no more thoughts of suicide friends....The WT would love to repeat how one of us did it.....I know I heard them when I was a JW....

Parties: no usually get forgotten
Loner: depends, I dont' like large groups of people but I am getting better at forcing myself to meet new people.
Make Friends: yes, the big problem is making friends with the right kind of people. I tend to gravitate towards users.
Missed: only for a few days then they move on.

Is it hard for you to make friends? Not so easy. I am a 50 something raising my g-kids, an ex cult member, no formal education after high school, just a plain Joe. Not a whole bunch of people are seeking those credentials for lifetime friendship I suppose. I am not un-likable, just no magnetism there, [See above.]

How would you rate yourself? I would say a 10. But I lose two points for being on an apostate board; and then I lose 8 points for being a woman. That makes me a big Zero.
Do you have a magnetic personality? Apparently: I've been stuck on this Maytag refrigerator since 1989, and the Maytag repairman is too busy doing crossword puzzles to take my plight seriously.

Are you a loner? Yes, in a way. If I could just get closer to the I Love Lucy magnet; the We Pets Veterinary Clinic magnet; and the Relief Chiropractic Clinic magnet, I'd be a PETA member who loves animals with spines.

Magnetic Personality: Yes, several people call you up for advice and help, every time we move to a new area you end up with our neighbours adoring you and the community welcomes you with open arms
Parties: Your friends just planned a birthday party for you, made sure that you'll be attending thanksgiving and asked you to bake the turkey for their family dinner because you'd do a much better job than any of them.
Loner: pffft, if I could actually call you during the day at home and find you there, I'd let you get away with this excuse
Make Friends: All the friends that were users were also witnesses that were emotional parasites. Since leaving you have made real friends. You are looked upto by other moms at our kid's school. You have been invited to sit on several committees in our community.
Missed: More than you'll ever know
