Avi, I feel ya. Losing someone you know shakes you to the core. It's a rather rude reminder of

impermanence and our own mortality. It doesn't matter how well you knew them, or how long.

My friend seemed to enjoy the heck outta life, and he was only 36. We were gonna do an XJW theme camp at the Burning man fest called the "Blingdom hall".

So, I guess I better start planning it now!! Life is beautiful.

Great idea Avi! IMO, the greatest honor you can bestow upon someone who has touched you closely is to honor them in a fashion they would have loved. As your friend enjoyed his life, so you should enjoy yours in his memory. If I can swing the Burn this year, I'm all over the Blingdom Hall bit

Thanks all of you, especially clam. Sharing something like that is tough. Losing someone like that is awful, just remember, he was sick, depression is a terrible, sometimes fatal illness.
