((((((((((HUGS))))))))) I have experienced similar, you are not alone. Leaving especially with loved ones still in is a long arduous journey. Hang in there. Just think of all the things your child will be able to experience without the restrictions of being a JW.

Some days/weeks I'm fine and other times I just have so much bottled up, I feel like exploding.
I can certainly empathize with you... - For me it is not so much bad memories or bottled up issues - it's the constant exposure to the shunning. I see all my old friends all over town, I see parents at school as well as other Witnesses in the community on a daily basis. That's what makes it tough on me - my first reaction is to say hello and smile, and you always feel like shit when someone recognizes you and runs the other way. Or... approaches your kids, hugs them, and makes over them like crazy and treats you like you are invisible - that's a tough one for me...
