We had cockatiels in our house when I was a kid -- not quite the same, but still quite friendly. I could imagine one of our birds doing that.

We have thousands of them where I live most are wild and are very destructiveof anything man made. They destroy the streetlights. as pets they have a filthy mouth usually from copying there owners.
