Whats the weirdest food/stuff you've ever eaten/tried? I ate some chocolate covered ants! Not too bad! How about a tomato worm?

Lemon Poppyseed Muffins made from worms.
Turns out if you, cornmeal the buggers for 24 hours, flash freeze for 2 hours and then "dry" in a low-temp oven you can crush their bodies into a flour substitute. Of course I didn't learn what I was eating until I finished.....(never would have guessed) ......apparently they are 98% protein!
You can also eat acorns, mesquite tree beans and use cattail pollen for flour.

Boiled, of course. Then marinated in some sort of salsa, mole or some such. Spongy, but not too bad.
