No not a drink. I got this E-mail from a witness asking..."I'm looking for the dynamics (ingredients) of something we've penned as a COCKTAIL. It is used to help with red cell count to get it to increase without the use of blood. Unsuccessful in my WT library search."
She says one of the people in her hall needs to know for her mother who is facing the blood delema. It is supose to be a mixture that increases red blood cell counts.
As you can see in her E-mail the WT library let her down, I'm sure JWD wont. I'll be sure to tell her where I found the Info;)

Tell her to ask the elders if the Regional Building Committee (RBC) has Jehovah's blessing. When they say yes, she can just tell her doctor that RBCs are OK with JWs.
Sorry. I'm sure someone will have a real answer for you STAT.

Those witnesses ought to get over their fear of the internet and learn to use google. I got all sorts of results including the following web page http://www.bicyclenewswire.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.showrelease&cid=142&id=412 which describes a supplement available in health food stores. Also there are meds that increase red blood cell count. I wonder if she's looking for some old-fashioned information from Adelle Davis? Witnesses used to follow Adelle Davis a lot - it might be some sort of mixture of liver, beets, wheat germ, etc. Also, one web site (medical research) discussed pantothenic acid, but I didn't read the whole article. Anyway, I realize this isn't all that helpful, but it's my two cents worth.
