OK, my husband is a Packer fan and I love my Bears. Last night he was so mad, throwing things, cursing like a sailor, basically acting like me, although, little more reserved.

I was in hiding all morning, giggling to myself, showing no emotion for the sake of our marriage...(lol ). I was making him breakfast and he didn't want any of it, acting like a baby, storms out of the house. I had to rub it in a little, the way the Bears are playing, who knows when I'll do this again.

So, I sent him flowers, with a sympathy card saying ....."Sorry Sucker"....lol. I wonder if he is going to come home, oh well, I had a good laugh.

I think they are lovely, wildflowers are my favorite but roses smell so nice.

    Hey Brooke!

I'm glad the Bears won. The Packers were starting to run away with it, and it was starting to get sickening to hear "the Pack is Back". (A call-in radio show here in Minnesota gets inundated with Packer backers.) But then the old, careless Favre showed up in the second half and blew the game on national TV.

So now the division is tighter, the Bears are only 2 games behind the Pack. The Bears will win when the Minnesota Vikings visit Soldier Field next week and will pull within a half-game of Detroit. I think the Bears finally have their quarterback, and they're ready to make their run for the division crown now.

    That's it Canada boy!

Well, it was nice watching the Cardinals lose and the Cubs making the playoffs! Like we always say "There's always next year"

OFF TOPIC (not a hijack, since you brought it up ):

it was nice watching the Cardinals lose and the Cubs making the playoffs

the Cardinals did not deserve to go in the playoffs this year OR LAST YEAR...let alone win the Series...does anyone know if they were the team with the worst regular season record to win the series????

How do the Cardinals pull within a game of first (in arguably the worst division in the National League and second to last worst in the Majors)....and then end up in freefall...9 game losing streak and a 1-13 middle of September? 7 games out behind your precious cubbies?

I still havent been to the new ballpark... too damn much money to spend....

BACK ON TOPIC...SO HOW DID HE LIKE THE FLOWERS?

Snakes that's what I had heard. The 2006 Cardinals were 83-78. When the 1987 Minnesota Twins won their World Series (ironically AGAINST those St. Louis Cardinals), their regular season record was just a little better (85-77).
