I always wonder about elders !!
I have looked at certain elders at times and would like to ask them if they really believe in the borg, or if not, how can they pass judgement on r/f JW's knowing that they can cause so much pain.

They couldn't answer any of the questions I asked them almost 4 years ago.
I seriously doubt they can answer them today, either.

If they remembered the theme, any relevent points or scriptures delivered from a public talk given by a fellow elder in the very same congregation just two or three weeks ago.
Put them on the spot. See if they know or even care. What will their reaction be like? It will just go to show how much they REALLY are paying attention.
Heck, I'll try my own suggestion at the next meeting.

I would ask them to name the seven resolutions that are suppose to be the seven trumpets from the book of revelations. Hell just name 3. I bet none of them can even though they are supposedly studying it now.

Without professional training/schooling, why do you think you are qualified to counsel in regards to alcoholism, drug abuse, child abuse, marriage problems etc. etc.?
