When I was in college we used to turn out the lights and listen to "Careful with that axe Eugene."
"Several species of small furry animals grooving togehter in a cave with a pict" is interesting.
Now that brings back memories...

My favorite Floyd song has to be "Learning to Fly" from their album A Momentary Lapse of Reason. Awesome tune!
The songs off their 1994 release , " The Division Bell" were quite good ." High hopes" was a favorite of mine off that album as well as "Keep Talking." Both good songs . Wish Gilmour would get back with his old bandmates and produce at least 1 more Pink Floyd album. Liked his solo album though, " On An Island" very good
David Gilmore did a solo album, About Face. I loved the tune entitled, " Murder "Roger's solo career exploded for me with the album, " The Pros and Cons of Hitch-Hiking " An eclectic array of his usual antics, as well as a star studded cast of musical characters, featuring Eric Clapton and Madd Sax playa' Raphael Ravenscroft. A true classic, not to be missed for those not entirely in the know.
Not a huge fan (there are so many bands, I just never got around to Pink Floyd) but i love the lyrics to "Comfortably Numb":
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ships smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
The version from the Roger Waters concert in Berlin, with Van Morrison and the Band is awesome.
