Just thought I'd share that with you.
We're in the middle of a storm right now, one last night too. Pretty tame by Darwin standards but it's only starting up.
I love this time of the year!

I love this time of the year!
And here in my part of Canada, we had our first overnight frost...yikes!!!...a glimpse of the cold season coming soon!
Glad I'm not in Canada I think the record low temp for Darwin is 13C, we're not accustomed to the cold!
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't this late spring or early summer down there? We're into a beautiful fall here with the leaves turning color more each day.
In the southern part of Oz it's late spring, the top end has only two seasons, dry and wet.
I love your time of the year too, but we have to wait 6 months to get there again. We have our rainy season here too and it lasts sometimes even into our summers. Actually we had several days of rain and today it's quite pleasant but still on the chilly side. 60°F (ca. 16°C) for the highs and low's at night in the low 40's. (5°C).

RebornAgain, sounds like Adelaide or Melbourne weather, Melbourne in particular can get very wet winters. It stays around 32C here most of the year, even when it's raining.
ditto from western oregon
Gotta love the tropics!
I wish you could send some of that rain down to us in Adelaide! It's pitifully dry here. We've just been allowed to use drippers or a garden hose once a week on a Saturday or Sunday - before that it was buckets.
