OK, I must be a really bad photograher. Use the up and down and across bars at the bottom and side of your page. .....I know this is bad timing with all the sad things going on here today....just thought it would give a little mental relief.
My Orchids, are dedicated to Linda, they bloom once a year and are the most exotic beauties you will ever see. There are a dozen Vanda flowers, each are the size of my hand, but the scale does not come across in the photos. The entire plant is about 5 feet high including the roots and flowers.

OK I give up,
I must take horrible pictures and bore everyone to death.
No need to respond.

Oh Restrangled I'm so sorry... I did look at the photos and not respond so please accept my apology, they are absolutely gorgeous!!! Love the orchids and the fuzzy "kids!"
I think everyone is a bit thrown off-base today.
Thank you for sharing a little beauty... we all needed it even if we are enjoying it without saying anything.
Love,
Baba. -

Thanks, everyone, I don't know why these photos posted as they did.....They were beautiful and veiwable when I sent them.
The dogs are both Dobermans and gentle as lambs,.....unless anyone wants to hurt someone in our family. One is Police trained and the other is just a big baby no matter what.
The Orchids as I mentioned, are dedicated to Linda who died today. They are so glorious in person, as I'm sure Linda was too.
Please add your own pictures of your backyard and pets.....

Every fall when we get a clear day I get a pic of the first snowfall on Mt Rainier. The maple tree always has nice gold leaves by then. THis is the view from our deck and and all the east facing windows of our house.
We have at least 100 wild apple trees on our place and since we have had a couple frosts they are very sweet. Me and my daughter are going to juice some tomarrow. I ate 3 of them today allready. YUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!!!
