I recently saw "The Saga Begins" - a Star Wars Parody and a parody of Don Maclean's "American Pie" - I think it's brilliant.

'You're Pittiful' (James Blunt) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgfpJWUYgbg (not official video)
And who can forget 'Like A Surgeon' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N26KWq7MmSc
Another favorite of mine (being a game show fan) is "I Lost on Jeopardy". The video shows the game's original host (Art Fleming) and features announcer Don Pardo telling Al what he didn't win.

It's a parody of "Our Love's In Jeopardy" by the Greg Kihn band.
Al is great because he always keeps up with music styles and the latest hits. Thus, he never gets old. He's had hits in the '80s, hits in the '90s, and hits in the '00s. He's not pegged as an '80s artist per se. He's always got something up his sleeve.
Pretty much anything off his first two albums. Some of my favs:
Theme from Rocky XIII
Stop Draggin' My Car Around
Ricky
I Love Rocky Road
Another One Rides the Bus
I Lost on Jeopardy
The accordion always gets me laughing. Too bad he only pulls it out for the Polka Medleys nowadays.
When I was at Canyon Ranch, I had tuna for lunch and found myself humming the first stanza and chorus to Theme From Rocky XIII
Mr. Popeil from the second album is also a great one. Hilarious send up of RonCo done in a flawless B52s style.
Leolaia,
I agree -- it's great that he stays relevant to current music. I heard an interview on the radio, and he said his goal is to make every new album (oops - every CD) his best one ever.
Also he has a really good, versatile band that can do any style of modern music. They would even be an excellent serious band.
Nos,
His accordion was the only instrument he could afford in his "Rides the Bus" days. His parents had him learn accordion because of the then-famous accordion player Frankie Yankovic (no relation).
Yeah, Mr. Popeil was great.
If you wanna hear another good B-52s spinoff, find the song "Slave Boy" by Green Jelly. It's so close, it's almost a parody of Love Shack.

Yeah I know. But I just love hearing mainstream songs done on his accordion. If you can, find his parody called "Still Billy Joel To Me". It's one of the funniest ones I've heard, but Billy Joel got pissed off at him for doing it.
