We had one of our rare crisp clear fall days this weekend in western WA. I got a few pictures and my daughter and I hauled some firewood out of the "back forty". Yesterday we picked around 25 lbs of wild apples and juiced them. They have been frosted on three times which seems to really improve the sweetness. I like fall alot but too often it's just overcast and rainy around here.

1/2 gallon of juice that tastes much better then it looks. We used a juicer so the green and red skins got juiced also.

Our neighbors just got a new horse. They could not afford an entire one so they got a good deal on a quarter horse. They also don't eat as much as whole horse does.

I know this is about happy topics, but I have a wicked sense of humor even in adversity. My estranged girlfriend, a chemist, has it in her mind that I am going to continue drinking. This is how the conversation went:

Her: IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO KNOW YOU YOU ARE GOING TO DRINK AGAIN!!

Me: No, it just takes a chemist.

I went out tonight dancing (Ceroc) for the first time in years and it felt amazing (apart from the fact I smashed my kneecap on a door today so felt like a hobbling OAP when I got there - LOL).

Boy, have I missed dancing and boy does my body show it!!!
