Maybe you're just being sensitive.
That's what I was told .......I got a birthday card a week or so ago..when I opened it ...It played.."Who Let The Dogs Out"then some woofing sounds.
WTH?...why would someone send me a birthday card like that?
Oh well..it's still sitting on the table...sometimes I walk by and open it just so I can hear.."Who let the dogs out..woof woof" and wonder again why they would send me that card.

I am sorry that you were hurt. It took me awhile to wrap my mind around what was going on with you and skally.
One of the bad things about written and E communication is that you miss the subtle nuances of voice and body language. Just me misreading your original post had me conflicted as to the tone of what you were saying.
I value you as a prized member of this board! Maybe even skally does too, and this was all inadvertant.
One thing is for sure, nobody better call me a dog! All of the canines in my neighborhood would take offense!

I love reading your posts. I am sorry you feel so badly about it. Maybe she was trying to get people to associate your name with your avitar. If she was just being mean, try not to let it bug you. Life is to short to buy into other people's drama.
"of your most prominent members" ...? Lord help us all if that were so. skally is a long-term poster, and loud, so I guess that makes her "prominent". But as others have said, please don't paint the whole board with one poster.

I value you as a JWD member, brush the other crap off. I've had posters say some pretty mean things to me in the past and I know how you feel, you just gotta move past thier BS and ignore them.

PS. The moles finally flushed and didn't bite my A$$ , I can now use "my" bathroom without worry. (thought that might make you smile a little)
If anything, sKally was probably referring to you by your avatar. That's normally how I remember people on this site primarly (I hate it when they change it!). If you don't like being referred to by what's in your avatar, then perhaps you might want to consider changing it.
I'm pretty sure I'd be called a butt plug if I were to use that as a pic for my avatar. :)
I had a run-in w/ a certain poster here and what was said hurt me very much, to the point that I stopped posting for days and actually sent mini-goodbye PMs to a few people. I finally confronted the person and was told that I shouldn't have taken the comments and thread the way that I did. EXCUSE ME??? Don't tell me how to FEEL. My feelings were hurt...point blank!
