Must we really take shots at each other and make fun of one another's opinions.

Yes, being in the real world can get a little uncomfortable. Have you ever sat with Italians when they argue football, or the French when they discuss politics, or musicians when they talk music, or the Brits when their part of the Green Belt is threatened, or the.....well, you get my point.

The only place I have been where opinions are accepted without challenge, however ridiculous , and to the detriment of the community, is within the Kingdom Hall.

Do not fear the travail of opinions, embrace them. This is the path to intellectual growth. It is uncomfortable for XJW's who have been used to others forming their opinions on important matters for them to pass and defend opinions, but it is vitally neccessary.

I CHOSE not to respond because 1, I only have 3 more posts left for the day (feel honored Sir82) and 2, it seemed like if the question wasn't answered w/ a simple yes or no, it was an unaccepatble answer. I'd rather play in threads where it's not a big deal what say.

Perhaps you misunderstood. I have absolutely no problem with challenged opinions. Plenty of my opinions are challenged and I don't have a problem challenging other's opinions if I see fit.

I have a problem with the hostile tone taken, that to me, is ridiculous. You, on the other hand, seem to think that expressing disagreement in any form is suitable. I do not. I believe that we all deserve, at the very least, to be treated with respect as human beings; and all the more so because we have come out of the same dehumanizing emotion sucking cult.
