Darin called me this morning and has unveiled his new webpage. There are several photos of him and Darby on there, along with a couple pics of me too.

I am so proud of him, I have lots of hope for him.

Oh, I need to mention that the pics of Darin in a Tux were taken at the toastmasters charter night event. The guy in the pic with him, also in a tux is the county party chairman.

I love that pic of him carrying the flag, that is priceless

This is a very well put together and easy to navigate website. It's well written and very nicely, professionally presented. The pictures are very good. He and his daughter make an attractive little family.

I especially like this:

• Supports strong fire and police protection
• Will strictly enforce zoning ordinances to protect neighborhood value
• Will conduct regular meetings with citizens to hear concerns
• Believes in conducting neighborhood forums to discuss specific issues
• Believes in listening to the citizens regardless of the issue
• Promises to vote with the majority of the citizens he represents
• Promises to never, NEVER raise taxes for the citizens of Kettering
• Believes in informing citizens of issues that will effect their future

Based on these values, I'd vote for him.

Here is an update:

Darin held a local meet and greet with the citizens today, it was held at a local coffee shop. Guess what happened? A group of JW's came in from service. He recognized one of them, and the guy did speak with him, if only briefly.

Darin didnt recognize any of the other JW's.

It seems Darin has some bipartisan support. A prominent democrat family has decided to support him and place his campaign signs in their yard.

He has a born again christian lady who supports him, along with a gay couple living in the neighborhood.

There are more of these meet and greets planned. I will be able to attend the last one on saturday before election day.

Because the qualities Darin holds important are things all of us find important. The only thing I don't agree with him about is his feelings on health care, but you told us about that, it's not included in his values. Thank you very much for the update.
