The postings include copies of original documents including some with the explicit name of W.L. ("Lloyd"D) Barry who is now deceased but was a member of the Governing Body over JWs earthwide. Also given is the name of one Ciro Aulicino probably a lawyer representing the Watchtower Society. After initial application for the WTS to be admitted as an associate of the Department of Public Information of the U.N. in 1991 the WTS had to reapply for a continuation of that liason for the next 10 years until quitting early 2001 after the arrangement became more widely known via publication in Britain's prestigious Guardian newspaper and on the jehovahs-witness.com website. Feel free to copy off items and take a Letter-To-The-Editor in your own and/or other locations. Just the facts, Freddie.
Correction to what I posted: early October 2001 is when the liason was ended. Also somehow I stuck a D in on the name of W.L. ("Lloyd") Barry. By the way, he died of a sudden heartattack while giving a talk before a convention or assembly in Hawaii on the theme of Jehovah will kill those who oppose Him. Looks like Jehovah was and is upset over the Watchtower-UN liason.

No joke. Barry was giving a talk at a district convention when he collapsed and died. The name of the talk he didn't get to finish: Opposers Against God Will Not Succeed (or something close to that). The irony was amazing.
Was Barry heard saying,
"No, it was only for the library card" before he collapsed?
Randy, how "recent" is this refutation of Carr? Carr has pulled down his webpage wherein he attacks Bergman. Are these two events related?
