Here we see this article is not for the kids. It is a mandate to the parents. Read between the lines and gauge the problems the WTS is having with slackened zeal among parents. For example, insert words to understand:
[The WTS] condemned the [parents], who would "say" but "not perform."
Para. 4- This is the strategy. Means: Guilt parents into action by holding the children's salvation ransom. End: Reactivate the congregation.

Bookmark this quote. The Watchtower is saying the FDS speaks for Jehovah.

Just wait until the study articles are not in the public issue- it'll only get stricter and bolder.

WTS never admits mistakes, teaches the elders to be that way.

They really mean: When things turn out badly, admit that you should have
done things according to research found in the WT Library.

Thanks for the deconstruction. The WTS are masters of guilt. It is a tool they weild often and well. Love, it seems, is too unpredictable to use and the sheep not

worthy of confidence. The kool aid edition will dispense with all the fluff and go for the jugular.

Are you refering to last week's study? "But most kids don't stay JW. Check in next week to learn why."

I think all the answers are in this week's study. The WTS is blaming the parents, calling them 'bad association', non-performers, not praying and studying. And to some extent that's right.

JW children will conclude that their parents really don't believe strongly enough to act on their faith. And they will be right.

JW kids are wise to it because they see all the double-standards from the inside. JW kids don't get the love-bombing, the half-truths at the door. Their curse is that ALL of their information is either filtered or colored.

What sort of an "associate" is a parent to a child? Are they family or Wal-Mart employees?

Will they hit the target-that is, will the children continue to love and serve God after they leave home? Numerous factors influence the answer. Three of them are the skill of the parent, the environment in which the children are raised, and the way the `arrow,' or child, responds to the training he or she receives.

There are other factors not listed that 'influence the answer' -- like will the child realize that the WTS is a man-made organization with no rightful authority over their life? It seems a lot of JW kids when they reach their teens come to realize something is wrong with the WTS. We've had many join this very discussion group before they even reach 20. Their parents may have done all they could, but the WTS is so pathetic and so irrelevant to today's younger generation that they're losing them. And then according to articles like this, the parents are likely to blame for not having 'skill' or providing the proper 'environment' to keep their kids enslaved to WTS dogma.
