Want some wiskey in your water,
Sugar in your tea.
What's all these crazy questions you asking me.
This is the crazest party that could ever be.
Don't turn on the lights cause I don't want to see.
CHORUS:
Mamma told me not to come
That ain't the way to have fun.
Open up the window,
Let some air into this room.
Think I'm almost choking from the smell of stale perfume.
And that cigarette your smoking bout scare me half to death.
Open up the window sucker,
let me catch my breath.
The radio was blasting,
Someones knocking at the door
I'm looking at my girlfriend,
She's passed out on the floor
I've seen so many things I ain't never seen before.
Don't know what it is I don't want to see no more.

Hey, Once I was a funky singer playin' in a Rock and Roll Band
I never had no problems, yeah
Burnin' down one night stands
And everything around me, yeah
Got to stop to feelin' so low And I decided quickly (Yes I did)
To disco down and check out the show
Yeah, they was dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'
And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted
Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down the boogie and play that funky music till you die
Till you die
Oh ya, ya
I tried to understand this
I thought that they were out of their minds
How could I be so foolish (How could I)
To not see I was the one behind
So still I kept on fighting
Well, loosing every step of the way
I said, I must go back there (I got to go back)
And check to see if things still the same
Yeah they was dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'
And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted
Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down the boogie and play that funky music till you die
Till you die, ya
Till you die
Now first it wasn't easy
Changin' Rock and Roll and minds and things were getting shaky
I thought I'd have to leave it behind
But now its so much better (it's so much better)
I'm funking out in every way
But I'll never lose that feelin' (no I won't)
Of how I learned my lesson that day
When they were dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'
And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted
Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down the boogie and play that funky music till you die
Till you die
Oh' till you die -

Kinda bored, a little stressed, a little depressed, thinking of funny songs I like. Like the one about the the appliance store guys -"that's the way you do it. Money for nothing and chicks for free." I heard another funny one on the way to work today, but can't remember what it was. And then there's Ringo Starr's "I don't do that no more." I think I'm in the mood for something funny to happen.

Here's my favorite stressed-out song. http://kids.niehs.nih.gov/lyrics/worms.htm

oh I love the worm song - reminds me of a cat song, if you can picture a beatnik cat singing low to his guitar:
love to eat them mousies
mousies what I love to eat
bite their little heads off
and crunch their tiny feet -

so I'm starting to get emails from folks asking me if I'm all right. I'm all right - no drink or drugs. Just tired of feeling sad! Entertaining myself with mild madness.

Sad emo
I looked in the sky
Where an elephant's eye
Was looking at me
From a bubblegum tree
And all that I knew was
The hole in my shoe that
Was letting in water (letting in water)
I walked through a field
That just wasnt real
With 100 tin soldiers
Would shoot at my shoulder
And all that I knew was
The hole in my shoe which
Was letting in water (letting in water)(I climbed on the back of a giant albatross
Which flew through a crack in the cloud
To a place where happiness reigned all year round
And music played ever so loudly)
I started to fall
And suddenly woke
And the dew on the grass
Had stuck to my coat
And all that I knew was
The hole in my shoe which
Was letting in water (letting in water)
