I'd say "Sure, can I borrow your credit cards while we're at it?"

The guest account is the safest option if you don't want it to seem as though you've got anything to hide.

Make sure your MSN is set to log chat conversations ahead of time so you can see if he's trying to contact his mistresses.

Or just say, "Sorry, no you can't."

When my step-daughter and her pre teen kids come to my house, my computer is the first place they hit.

Kids get on Nick.com or some other game site, or they get on their MySpace account and start checking

everything. My step-daughter checks her email, and gets on her MySpace account and off she goes. I

don't mind at all, but I thought it was like this with everybody. Now I realize I've been too lenient with access

    to my computer.

You could always say the internet is a TOOL OF SATAN and you've disconnected it.

I think letting them use windows under guest is a good idea, just be sure to put a password on your login so they can't go snooping.

I'd say no. I have many personal things (i.e. personal computer) on my machine. Besides JWD, I have financial information, personal notes etc. It's off limits to anyone besides me. Next time, ask him if you can borrow a pair of his drawers (under shorts for you Brits)

...oh, and by the way...letting a relative use his computer/internet browser is how one elder I know about got busted for looking at porn (the relative seen the history when he was in the browser and made him confess to the elders)...not that it mattered...CO and BOE let him continue to serve...no JC...just a slap on the wrist...only one elder even bothered to question why he was still being allowed to serve as an example.... ...to this day....still elder...still pioneer.....good ol boy network circled the wagons.

This new webtv I have has that feature, but the old one didnt.

I dont like the idea of punching in a letter and all of the websites beginning with that letter show up, whoever invented that had no clue about privacy.

Is there anyway on a real computer that you can disable that feature?

I've never had anyone refuse me to check my email from their computer, so I would do the same for them. If I am comfortable enough to have someone in my home, then I have no problem w/ them checking their email, googling some directions, or checking movie times at my place. I have some personal material on my lappy, but if they see it, then they see it. I suspect that the geek squad was playing in "My Documents" when my A/C jack was getting repaired a few months ago. Oh well, they got to see some pics of my recent piercings...ha ha.
