For years i studied the awake and watchtower literature and at times wondered to myself why [ esp in the awake] do they keep quoting the un so much when they are saying the un is satans tool.I got more curious when i read an awake main article which was practically dedicated to the un, all about the uns projects,etc.Then it all made sense when i discovered that the tower had had a realtionship of some sort with the un.When i spoke to the elders they seemed non the wiser but looked into it and came back with info saying it was just a library card for the info section.Which i was suspicous of,especially when the elder told me this year that " the un thing is old news anyway so why bring that up".

Does anyone have any further info on this or documents? I had heard that american congregations had been sent letters from bethel explaining this, is that true? because as far as i know british congregations didnt recieve any letters or anything about this.

There are many UN sites, someone please supply the most updated? Mine in my fav's is no longer available.

The whole library card thing is such a line of bull I find it really annoying! You or I could take books from the UN library at anytime, as long as your library has an agreement with the UN to use their library. It has been like this for as long as I know, someone correct this if necessary. Anyone from private citizens to teachers, etc... can and do use the UN library without having a special UN library card. Go to the UN official site for info on using the library.

They are symptomatic of humanities madness of delusion and are just echoing the prediliction of a man to get the truth completely 180 degrees off from reallity. To find fault wilth them is simple and akin to making a retarded person cry or feel frightened , not hard at all,

The real task is getting an understanding of the true nature of ones own self and finding that truth inherint in each of us that our creator allows us to experience if we seek it

Finding the answer to " What am I ?" is the most satisfying and fulfilling thing one can do. That experience allows true understanding of our origin and relationship with God to blossom and take root in a meaningfull way.

The Fancyful and Decried Slave

The name of Marcel Gillet regularly appears among delegates to those political conferences. He is -or was- country coordinator for Belgium, and is headquarted at Brussels Bethel in Kraainem, Belgium. I once heard him at a circuit assembly. He was explaining the UN association away, with that library card story. What a shock when I later saw that he was at the head of another suchlike NGO, and active in political lobbying.
