Did anyone notice the oddity of dedpoet's comment made on Oct. 12th on the thread about "Who is paired up on this board"? I thought it was very odd, and I almost called him on it.

Sort of.
We knew each other as jws, and stayed in touch when
I left in 1999. We finally got together, in 2005, and
Linda moved in to live with me at the beginning of 2006,
by which time we'd known each other almost 15 years.
We'd always been close friends, and we got closer when
Linda came to my flat a lot when she was exiting the
watchtower in the summer of 2005 to research the org
and eventually post on here, as she didn't have a pc of
her own at the time.

"Sort of." Now that's a statement of undying love regarding he and his wife who was supposedly at death's door. No mention that they were married either. Weird, weird, weird...

Can the parable of Trev and Linda also help us to understand the trinity, modalism or even faith itself?

Trev was Linda but was Linda Trev? Because Linda didn't actually exist in the physical sense, but was an "essence", does that make her "not real?" Or is she real because she's part of Trev? Could they only be described as existing consecutively?

Linda sent her only begotten Trev into the world (round to Ian's for a cup of tea, to an apostafest and onto this board), and Trev spoke of Linda and what she wanted, and how he loved her. He showed us how to accept Linda into our lives and to believe in her. We prayed for her and made offerings.

Then we found out that Trev was making Linda up. Or was he? After all she did exist in him.

In the beginning was Linda, and Linda was with Trev and Trev was a Linda. Or is that Trev was Linda?
