If you really want a gun you can have one of ours. When we moved back to Oklahoma we inherited her grandfathers collection of rifles and shotguns then my wife's mother passed away in December and her dad gave her her mothers Walther .22 with a laser sight. Since I'm not a gun guy the day we brought home our soon to be daughter I put them all in a trunk and carried them up to the attic. I prefer a 5 Iron for home defense, it's much more personal.

Gun control means. . .hitting your target.
Not 'backard' but up. . .we have a buddy who is an experienced shooter who we visited with at Sportman's Warehouse where he works the gun counter, well he's got a large bandaid on his forehead this day. He one-handed a friend's S&W500--how hard can it kick, he said-- so much muzzle flip he cracked himself in the forehead with it, the hammer left a nasty remembrance that needed a couple of stitches, plus, the shock of impact made him fire a second (DA) time, straight up through the ceiling. He saw daylight at the indoor range.
Pretty damn funny.
