Did this antichrist program, depict the antichrist in a long black trenchcoat? Appearing and disappearing on the streets etc.
I think I saw this program. I was on vacation, staying in a hotel, and had to leave without seeing much of it. I think I saw it on Aug 1, 07. give or take a day, about 9:00 or 10:00 am. mountain time. If it is the same program, it was interesting what I saw of it. Wished I could have seen more, but haven't thought about it since then.

The Discovery Channel kicked The History Channel's ass with Deadliest Catch, so they fired back with Ice Road Truckers I guess? That was all I got from the show it was intresting if you followed it. I liked both. Though like you pointed out I don't see why Ice Road has any thing to with history though Modern Marvels is stretching the history concept too!

I was sorta watching it. I think they were doing interviews with different groups of believers as to what their take on it was. I don't think there was any real authoritative date given-just opinions. They also interviewed some who stated that the antichrist is not meant to be literal,and is a metaphor for learning to deal with the "evil" in each person.It would have been more balanced if they would have included comments/info provided by nonbelievers.
What I found interesting was how the JWs differred from the beliefs of dispensationalists.
LOL! When the commercial for the program on Armageddon came on, how many exJWs were thinking "Har-Mageddon" every time they said it. My brain when on automatic correct mode to the old JW term.
Oy, does the programming ever fade?LOL

Yep it was sort of intresting to see others take on the antichrist. It was all still BS of course.

Yeah it's embarrassing for the history channel to be playing this garbage and I've sent them emails in the past telling them so. Unfortunately at 3 or 4 am there's just no much else on!
What I was trying to say is that they used the same dating techniques but started with completely different dates. They used the same prophecy but came up with nothing even near 607 and then when they counted forward they ended up not at 1914 but at some date in the 40's and they said "and of course nothing happened during that year."
I just thought that was hilarious and hoped a lot of witnesses saw it. Unfortunately I didn't catch everything that was going on and wondered if anyone else did.
