Shell, I would have done the same thing. It's good to get angry sometimes. It can be very empowering.
You didn't hurt anybody. I hope you even felt better afterwards, if only for a few minutes.
LOL re: the masking tape! Too funny! Too bad you can't fill it in with something.

If that is the worst you have ever acted out while angry, I nominate you for sainthood. Do not waste time feeling guilt for your actions, it was a protest that was able to help you process your grief. Let this go, and do what you want to to commemorate your father. Your mother has whole lot of bad karma coming from how she treated you, the flowers are but the tip of the iceberg.

oh lighten up - you were hurt and you did a little tiny destructive thing. Bad would have been torching her house or stalking her or using her identity to order credit cards. You are really a nice person, aren't you?
