They'd be flocking into Canada by the planeload if it wasn't so cold in the winter. They are probably more decent than the pond scum that immigrated here in the last 20 years. Bunch of drug dealers gone bad in this town. Last Friday there was a scary drug deal that went bad. Gangland execution of 6 people in an apartment. 2 were accidental witnesses.
Why doesnt this administration stop the flow of immigrants to US?

One thing for sure neither the Pres nor the Congress care about what the american people think, Its been overwhelming shown via polls that we don't want illegals in this country and yet our Govt. doesn't respond to us. Vote people get the assholes out of power seize power for ourselves. Locally I am on the local governments with caustic comments when needed and praise when thats needed imo of course.
Bush seems to hate the border living americans and love the illegals. Well thankfully in California along the San Diego area borders illegal immigration stopped or at least was severely curtailed due to the fires, hopefully the fires that were on the border went south of the border and will put a stop to their invasion of our country for awhile. Neither Congress or Bush have the balls to just end it, they know most people won't get off their ass and do something about it. Folks you have phones so call your congressman makes yourselves heard.

Approaching the Presidential election a large constituency of Mexican-Americans looms large as a voting block who must be courted and not offended.
That's pretty much a given.
Keeping prices low makes a corporation competitive. If companies can hire cheap labor prices stay low. If cheap labor vanishes and a "living wage" must be paid along with corresponding benefits and taxes America's goods and services will suddenly spike out of proportion to expectations and the economy will rupture.
That's pretty much a given.
Offering Entitlement Programs to the poor is what Liberals have as a default agenda as far as promises are concerned. Free Health Care, Low prescription Drug prices and such have enormous voter appeal to the unenlightened (politically naive.)
That's pretty much a given.
All in all, the above explains the reluctance on the part of both sides of Congress.
