I did watch this documentary on PBS earlier this year. I wonder if I will ever get that hour of my life back! It was very one-sided, as you may have determined from the propaganda they put out there.
"JW's show that it's possible to hold a faith without feeling threatened by other beliefs?" Oh really now. Anyone who dares dissent or consider other beliefs are roped into a meeting with elders and possibly dismissed. They won't even allow little study groups to examine the Greek text behind their translation!
"Much negative attention is paid on websites to the organization's past history." Oh the crybabies! If they had the truth, and their spiritual heritage was so uplifting, they'd have no problem. Notice the words "negative attention" -- they can't claim that they're being lied about. Because for the most part, all that's being exposed is real history. If the WTS had actually told the truth about its past history, instead of making heroes out of Russell, Rutherford, et al, then there'd be nothing negative to add about them. Instead their prevarications make them look like fools.

Knocking is a weak representation of reality...
it totally ignores the dark and seedy side of the JW culture.
I heard that someone from Canada is doing a documentary to counter the knocking video... does anyone have any details about this?

Yes, Ruby Parker is working on an anti-Knocking documentary. She was DF'd from JW's at age 16, and intends to show how DF'ing really affects people. She is for real, and I've had the pleasure of corresponding with her.
