Don't know if this has been posted before. These are the annual meeting notes. Notice that although the FDS "not inspired" an "err" they are the channel of communication.

THANK YOU
"We of the Governing body have not always had the right understanding. The Gov. Body is not inspired and neither are the publications. It is the Holy Spirit that helps us to find the correct understanding".
What a load of crap! They cannot make the statement that they are not inspired and then say that the spirit is directing them. The Holy Spirit must be lost with as many changes as they make. How can anyone believe this garbage? I get so frustrated when I think about how long I was duped and now my wife and kids still are stuck in that crap hole.
It seems so logical to me. I have made this statement many times on this board. For me, it is the most logical and obvious proof of their BS. You are either spirit directed or you are not. If the spirit is helping them, then the spirit gets it wrong all the time. Without the spirit guidance they are just a bunch of uneducated, home bible-schooled losers. The thing that is so frustrating is the way they use this supposed spirit guidance to force submission to an ideal created by them!
I have to stop now. I am getting too angry and may resort to violence on my laptop. Thank you for your time.

You are right ColdCreek...
INSPIRED = INSPIRITED.
How the hell can they say that the Spirit is "helping" them but they are not inspired ?
They make the Spirit sound like something that you take in doses when you need it... a bit like Lucozade !
What a great idea Quandry! Glad you posted this. I was wondering if these are your actual notes. eh?.....oompa
Sorry if I'm mixing up the English words here, but is this 'annual meeting' the same as a one-day assembly, that is held in all/most countries, for all JWs? 'Cause my parents have just been to a one-day assembly. Could that be it? The reason for my confusion is that some of the "theocratic English" words are unfamiliar to me. Thanks.
The WTS teaches that the marriage of the Lamb and the Bride starts just after the GT starts and Babylon the Great is destroyed. Will some of the bride class be on earth then rather than in heaven participating in the wedding?
*** w91 5/1 p. 23 Thrilling Visions That Strengthen Faith ***Surely, John is thrilled to witness the end of Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion, and to observe the joyous events that follow her destruction. (17:1–19:10) Drunk with the blood of holy ones, she is seen astride a scarlet-colored wild beast with seven heads and ten horns (the League of Nations and its successor, the United Nations). Ah, but what devastation she suffers as the horns turn against her!
Heavenly voices are heard praising Jah for the destruction of Babylon the Great. And what thunderous praise heralds the marriage of the Lamb and his bride, the resurrected anointed ones!
*** w89 9/1 p. 21 par. 14 Remaining Organized for Survival Into the Millennium ***Very shortly, Babylon the Great will be removed from the earthly scene. Then, as Revelation 19:1-8 indicates, the Lamb’s marriage with his bride of the entire 144,000 will be consummated in the heavens,
*** w95 7/1 pp. 13-14 par. 19 Christian Witnesses With Heavenly Citizenship ***In another vision John hears faithful, resurrected, anointed Christians referred to as ‘the Lamb’s wife.’ What a warm picture this paints of the intimacy they will enjoy with Jesus and of their willing subjection to him! Picture the joy in heaven when the last of them finally receives his heavenly reward. Now, at last, "the marriage of the Lamb" can take place! That royal heavenly organization will then be complete.—Revelation 19:6-8.
*** w92 4/15 p. 17 par. 22 Jehovah’s Provision, the "Given Ones" ***Finally, after the demise of Babylon the Great, all 144,000 ‘sealed ones’ will be in heaven for the marriage of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:1-3; 19:1-8)
sounds like they are not even sure themselves tho they will never admit it.
Blondie, we just did a cut and paste on the Climax book, and this was studied recently:
***
rechap.19p.116par.9SealingtheIsraelofGod***That seal then becomes a permanent mark. Evidently, when the four winds of tribulation are unleashed, all of spiritual Israel will have been sealed in finality, even though a few will still be alive in the flesh. (Matthew 24:13; Revelation 19:7) The entire membership will be complete!—Romans 11:25, 26.
I thought we had been saying this for awhile, at least since this in 1988. I did not do the cut and paste so dont know if this was updated. Doesn't this seem to conflict? Just what is the postion based on Climax?????
I just wanted to say position and climax in the same sentence.......oompa
DRAGNET: ALL the fish were thrown on the shore. Don't get excited about the large numbers at the Memorial. Maybe these are not all good fish.
Is this a hint that the Memorial PARTAKERS will be high in the figures that are due out... are just that the number in attendance is high, so don't get excited - there is still much work to do ?
