I don't know if this is where this thread is going but I find many people feel they are entitled or deserve many things in the U.S. including material wealth, true love (as pictured in the movies) and success in life. When things do not go their way they tend to be depressed and instead of working harder towards achieveing those things they simply complain about the system......Or how they've been jipped of what they feel is God given right....
Where I live people do not feel entitled to anything and when they do get something because of hard work or as a gift from someone, they are truly grateful for the most part. They're expectations are lower as well.
