    First: denial

    Second: anger

    Third: resolve

    Fourth: hope

    I don't really fit into any of the above groups. I guess I might be the newly screwed over although I had serious doubts a long time ago but just satyed inside the organization because of family and the social network. And probably fear of the unknown. But i don't hate my upbringing and I'm not mad at JW's as people. It saddens me that there are people who WANT to believe the bs. But I'm not angry or have reason to be as resentful as otheres on this forum. I find myself many times defending generalizations that are done about the witnesses and the families. Not everyone is the same. I feel greatly for those that have suffered but I think sometimes people can lose their objectivity. So I don't know what category that puts me in...As far as being decieved by the WTBS I really feel that I willingly allowed that deception to happen out of my own laziness to look elsewhere for information...

    Actually, I don't even want to help others see the light. I just want to be here with Open Arms to Catch them when they see the Light on Their own.

    Me? I retired at age 60 and am on days off,every day! So, having time on my hands and desiring to explore computerdom and the internet, I started

    exploring. Anything I've looked for, for information, is here on the net. I was a JW once, so I was curious about what I might find about JW's. I found

    this site and was very pleasantly surprised to find people with a lot of good thinking and information. I am amazed that people here have a "common

    ground" and yet have such diverse thinking and ideas. Makes me wonder, were we once all alike?

    Before I came here I was content and happy with my life, I wasn't looking for a place to vent any anger or animosity towards anyone. But, it's good

    to know there are many, ALL AROUND THE WORLD, who "know you" and "understand you" cause we were (almost all here) "Jehovahs". That's

    what my worldly friends used to call me, "he's one of those Jehovahs."
