Especially as the population ages,so he congregations might also age.

It already has in some congregations. That's when the MTS grads are sent in to take over and save the day.

Now that the door is open for newly anointed being okay and also now that the 144,000 in heaven can direct even those with the earthly hope, younger ones can be chosen to do the directing. The old senile ones will just be ignored, put away as is already being done.

Senile! No we JW's are not becoming senile. In fact I remember the great alligator infestion of bethel in Nineteen Nickaty Five We had to call it Nickaty because the word Ninety was stolen by the devil ! It was a hell of a time!

Badboy - From its inception the WTBTS has been controlled by people who are.... to put it mildly.......just 'not quite right', in the upstairs director's department!

Of all the elderly JWs I have ever known and still do know, they all fit into this catergory! They may be nice and pleasant enough, but they all believe that THEY are special. Now, it's bad enough to commence dementia as you get older and I'm not trying to minimize the awfulness of senility, BUT, if you add to this concoction a notion of 'specialness' or a potentially 'natural' Narcissistic Personality where the older ones feel they have been 'in The Truth' for a long time and so should be treated as 'special' they may begin to be a bit more forward in what they have to say.

I remember my husband's grandmother being very outspoken and very angry about the generation change of 1995 and when she began to suffer with dementia she became even more outspoken about the bOrg!

Senility at the top of the chain of command would be difficult to spot!

For one, they only 'think' they are in charge when really the legal and accounting departments rule the WT now.

Senility may well suit the accountants and lawyers however, as it prevents any interference in the control of MONEY!

Personally, I have no doubt that the finances of the WT are being milked very cleverly, but to be honest I don't give two hoots!

The WT is going to be killed from the inside by those who are not yet senile, under the very noses of those who always have been!
