The last I remember is Those who aren't on the Figurative "Ark" are Dead just as those in Noah's Day.

I was taught from childhood that all people that were not JW's would die. Of course there was a loophole. If you died before the big A you could be resurrected in the new system.

Yes absolutely, all will be killed, just like he did during the flood of Noah's day, all the inhabitants on earth, only those who keep faithful to him and the watchtower society based in New York

will survive. Remember he is a loving and just god and he wants only the best for mankind.

"So - who will be executed? If you don't have to be a JW to survive Armageddon, why should anybody go to meetings or go out on field service? Oh... so maybe only those who are REALLY evil, and those who were once JWs and who left, are going to be executed? So, maybe we shouldn't be out there trying to make people JW's, because then there's the risk that they might get disfellowshipped and then they won't have any chance at all of surviving Armageddon?"

I just had a semi-interesting thought: What would happen to the planet's ecosystem if six billion people suddenly stopped breathing, and stopped giving off heat? Of course, the solution would be that Jehovah would fix it. That's the fun thing with the supernatural. Anything can be fixed in a second.

Anyway... As for the question itself, this is one instance where I can't seem to get totally into my JW frame of mind (sometimes I can remember exactly how I thought/felt). But I do remember that if pressed on the question, I would say that we are not judging people, that Jehovah will judge people's hearts, and... all that stuff. But at the same time, it was pretty obvious from pretty much every meeting, that we not only had to be a Jehovah's Witness in order to survive, we had to be very zealous Jehovah's Witnesses in order to survive. And even then, it was not guaranteed (from the scripture "perhaps you'll be saved").

So yeah - they'll all die. Then again, they're all 'spiritually dead' anyway... *barf*

-Perhaps JWs should have a new tract campaign slogan: "Billions of people now living will soon be killed by Jehovah in Armageddon".

Perhaps not such an easy sell.

So...in "service", a gun would be statistically more effective than a WT...

*** w89 9/1 p. 19 par. 7 Remaining Organized for Survival Into the Millennium ***Only Jehovah’s Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil. (Revelation 7:9-17; 2 Corinthians 4:4) They will make up the "flesh" that Jesus Christ said would be saved through the worst tribulation of all human history.

How can you vreate a paradise using death and destruction as the tool?

And if people are not killed, won't the JW's be pissed off for not being rewarded for their piety and sacrifices?

I never have been able to understand that about them.
