can anyone tell me what the best program to remove these annoying virisus off my computer is? i can barely use it now without getting pissed off. ads are popping up every 15 seconds and stuff keeps changing on my computer. wallpapers and things like that. HELP!!!!!!

I'd recommend AVG's free anti virus. It seems to work as well as any of them, and it's free. I haven't had a virus problem in a couple years.

Also, if you're getting pop ups, I suspect you're running Internet Explorer? If you are, make sure to uninstall anything you've added to your browser like search boxes or weather alerts or any of that crap. A lot of browser add ons have pop ups and other spyware.

Go to http://www.trendmicro.com. Do a free online scan. It will remove viruses and spyware. Free of charge. Even though I have Norton Antivirus and Internet Security, I still to a trendmicro scan every once in a while because it catches stuff the even Norton doesn't catch.

That's patently false. Many sites have trojans and spyware. Just about any song lyric site you visit will give you a virus if you don't have protection.

I use hijackthis to locate rogue registry entries from spyware and adware.
go to http://www.hijackthis.de to have it analyze the log file and recommend what to do to remove trouble entries.
Adaware is also good at removing spyware etc.
