The Trick or Treaters are here!

Kids have been knocking about an hour now. They all look soooo cute in their little costumes. This is my 2nd Halloween and it is great so far. This year I even decorated the outside with jack-o-lanterns with candles and paper lanterns. I am so excited. Are any of you getting a lot kids where you live? Lilly

The neighbour has his little girl out, so I turned on my porch light....they'll be here in droves soon enough. Have fun everyone.

We only had a couple of knocks at the door tonight but the first time we opened the door there were about 15 kids thereand 5 adults!!!!!!!! My husband gave out loads of toffee apples and sweets so we didn't get any tricks to contend with

I confess I stayed at work till 9pm to avoid them!

It's just not fun over here like it seems to be in America - kids DEMAND you give them something and can be quite nasty if you don't. Some of them are like that all year round, why should one night make a difference? They don't even bother to dress up - they'll just stick a plastic mask on their face and think that's it.

The whole concept of fun has gone from Halloween in my eyes - its merely demanding money/candy with menaces!

But I'm glad you guys are having a fun time

They did attempt to set fire to my house one year by leaving a lighted candle burning next to the window frame - some fun eh??

omg, venezuela is tough! Even last year when I ran out of candy, no one pulled any tricks on me at all. This year I bought extra to be prepared. All the kids who came so far about 45 - 50 appreciated what I gave and said thank you and Happy Halloween. I guess it depends on where you live. Lilly

I live so far out in the mountains that in 13 yrs we have not had a single trick or treater.
