    I would post mine but seeing as it is a draft for a graphic novel it would not count.

    I want book finished finished before human eyes behold what it there.

    I'll know when the editing is done. It will be the day I can read any part of it without stomach pains.

    It is like the old (probably spurious) Michaelangelo quote. When asked how he was able to take a hulking block of marble and turn it skillfully into the impeccably majestic statue of David; Michaelangelo replied;

    "Simple, I just chip away everything that is not David."

    So too with my novel. I coughed up a huge, hulking block of marble. Now, I must chip away everything which is not my novel.

    Sigh.

    LOL! Yeah, like Hemingway said, "rough drafts are sh*t."

    But, once you have a rough draft you can polish it until is shines.

    I congratulated in your other thread already, but here's an extra one for such a wonderful feat: Congratulations Terry!!!

    The polishing continues...

    It is like the recipe for the perfect martini; except nobody can agree on what that is!

    I posted an excerpt of my novel today to experience the barometer of reaction generally.

    I read it. Good job! One of the proudest moments of my life were when I typed "The End" after the first year I participated in NaNo.

    I can't wait to read the final edition. Oh, and I collect signed books so maybe we'll meet at your book signing.
