What about South Florida-West Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties?
South Florida has the worse set of drivers in this country:
Personally, I stay off of I-95 if I can help it. There are other roads to the same places. I can think of an easier and less painful way to injure or kill myself than being maimed by this useless drivers in South Florida.
I am originally from New York.......so I know what I am talking about as an outsider watching these drivers. New York and Boston has nothing on these bad drivers in South Florida.

What do you expect from a state whose people can't figure out a voting machine?
You are right.
Coming from the north, I was just expecting too much..................
Oh yeah, Florida is not the only one with drivers driving in the "passing lane". When I was living there that is one thing I hated, one person in the driving lane and the other in the passing lane, you can't get around! Colorado is like that too.. People really need to re-take their lessons. lol But hey , I'm sure everyone has done something stupid at one time or another, everyone except lil ole me.

Nice! In red too, that would make me want to speed like a crazy lady!
I had one speeding ticket when I was 17 (driving on a freeway up North), never had another one since. I've never been in an accident where I hit someone, I've always been the person getting hit or backed into. My Insurance rate's pretty good and has been from what I can remember.
As far as guys, I've heard they always have a higher rate- I have no idea if it's true or not.
I must agree with ronin here and say that driving through South Florida is one of the worst driving experiences i've ever had.
As far as my driving history, I must say that i'm a patient driver most of the time. I've haven't had any speeding tickets but i've received a warning for speeding. He asked me if I was aware that I was speeding and I told him "yes". He said he'd give me a warning since I was so truthful.
I was involved in a car accident a few months ago, was found at fault and cited.
I've been in a couple other accidents where others were at fault, but thankfully no one was ever hurt in either one.

I think it is wrong that girls got a better deal on insurance simply because they own a vagina. Hell, I think women should have to pay more! Have you seen how they drive in a mall parking lot?? They will run you over!
Anyway, I was a field engineer for about 6 years and drove about 50,000 miles a year just for my job. I managed to get quite a few "speeding" tickets. Usually these "speeding" tickets were written by police in little crap towns in rural Georgia that run speed traps. I got a ticket in Pendergrass, Georgia. There is a brand new 4 lane divided highway running between there and Athens. Well, there are many sections where the speed limit is 45 miles an hour. I already was aware of the speed trap so I always strictly adhere to the posted speed there. Well, of course I got pulled over, in a 55 mile an hour zone, doing 55 miles an hour. The cop pulled me over and told me that he clocked me doing 55 in a 45. I said I was going 55 in a 55 mph zone. He said no. I said yes. It just so happened that he pulled me over with me staring directly at the 55 mph sign through my windshield. I said "Hey, look at the sign!!" He said that didn't count. I went to court. The judge made me pay, even though I took pictures and everything. The very last ticket I got was comming home from Florida on my honeymoon. There is a speed trap on I-75 in Dooley county. Little town called Vienna. It doesn't matter what speed you were driving, they write you a ticket for 83 in a 65. The cop stopped me and told me this. I said that I wasn't going that fast. His response, "Betcha you was, Boy!" Okey dokey! They stopped my dad in the ver same spot with the very same story, except he was driving a moving van at the time that had a 70 mph governor on it. It wouldn't go 85 if you got out and pushed it. Bastards. Besides the speeding tickets, that's it. Personally, I think speeders should get awards. They get there quicker, thus reducing congestion on the roadways.
I am a women driver, but not agressive. I do not believe it is necessary to tailgate someone or illegally pass someone just to get to the next light. And if you are on I-95 or even on a local road, there is no reason to be on someone's bumper because of impatience.
Suggestion: leave for your destination on time or earlier and that will eliminate speeding or cutting people off the road because you are late or in a rush.
Having been employed in the insurance industry for 27+ years, I agree that the insurance companies should re-rate their policies and include high rates for women also. I noticed that in the past decade women have become even more agressive on the road, very impatient, applying make-up while driving, talking non-stop on their cell phones, etc.
It's time for 'women's liberation' to really be just that when it comes to rating auto insurance policies.
