Do we have trust issues?

Since the 'incident' with Trevor and Company, do you feel you cannot trust people here anymore? i don't mean online in general, i don't mean in your day to day life i mean on this site.

I think some of us have taken a direct hit right where trust was and the issues are starting to become apparent on this site. I'm not referring to individuals but rather the general feel of the site - it feels like the site has developed a limp.

Lets skip the problems, hiatus and get back to doing what we do best.

In my humble opinion, laughter is the best medicine.

I'm not one to let a few bad people color my perception of the world. I think we're a bit more watchful now, but I don't think Dannygate or Trevorgate has seriously wounded the board.

I still see threads about JW issues and silly threads where people are laughing. I also see contentious threads on politics and religion, but those have always thrived on this forum.

If we feel that a thread is heading the wrong direction, it's up to us to try to get it in a more positive or realistic framework. If there aren't any interesting threads being started, then start one !

The board seems to be going as ferociously fast as I've ever seen it.

The recurring theme I read on the "death" of Linda, was that most posters here did not regret extending condolences and "comfort" to Trevor and would probably do the same thing in the future.

I'm a little more leery now, but not much. Life's too short to withhold love and human kindness.

In some things there will be a few while will be sceptical when someone announces they have an illness.

But i think the majority of us have put it behind them and moved on.

I think I am a little sceptical about really new newbies now........keep wondering if it is Trev's new on line ID.......but if he is back I think I have him spotted........but I am not about to mention names.......it may all be perfectly innocent.

I guess I am just kind of cynical. I only saw one post about Trevor and Linda and I told my hubby about it and we both thought it was really sad IF it was REAL. I never posted my doubt since I am new here and felt like I didn't have the right and I COULD have been wrong about it.

But when I post and people either ignore me or don't post after me, I wonder if Trevor and Linda ruined everything or am I just too much of a newb.
