Not only was Waylon superb with his writing, singing, and Telecaster playing, but Waylon invented a music genre. Not many can say that.

Yeah....I love all four of them. I also loved Mickey Raphael who did all the harmonica solos on Willie's songs....without a doubt---the guy made magic!

Oh how I miss Johnny to this day. I grew up on him, and my 24 year old daughter knows the words to all of his songs. I used to sing her to sleep to his music. I saw Waylon (and Johnny) in concert. Separate concerts. Here is the song my exhusband used to sing a lot when playing guitar. Still one of my favs.
