    Alrighty then! Yum.

I concur, and would only add shaken hard with tiny ice slivers that last a few sips.

Bombay sapphire gin and some vermouth, very very cold, big fat olive

now that is out of the way, I really like male operatic voices, although I don't like opera very much. But I loved the three tenors (only two now, sadly) and I thought Paul Potts was amazing - such a voice from an amateur is impressive. I bought his CD - it's nice although not as powerful as Pavarotti for instance or my favorite, Placido Domingo.

Well I don't claim any musical expertise, but I think he just outdid Pavarotti.

Pavarotti, is just too loud, and bold. Bocelli, is too soprano for me. I don't like women opera singers at all. I feel like they are screaming. So I have never really liked Opera. This guy I really like.

Can you imagine him in a couple of years, when he receives some high class instruction?

I saw on a video, he had his appendix rupture, and at the same time, they found a large tumor on his adrenal gland. He was laid up for a long time, very sick. When he could finally get back to work, at a supermarket, in less than a week, he was hit, while riding his bicycle to work. His wife, has stood by his side, and taken care of him. He has been working 2 jobs, to pay bills. He flipped a coin, to see, if he should take off work to audition. He was very hesitant, because of his age. 36 And didn't know if he was good enough. He had tried sending tapes, etc to people, who were never interested.

I think it is a very cool story.

Horrible, I concur completely. My attitude towards opera has been kind of like my attitude towards wine. The difference between a $20 bottle and a $50 bottle is about 30 bucks + tax. This guy is mello instead of just loud. And his humility is special. Reminds me of when Gomer Pyle sang Ave Maria.

I wondered what happened to this guy. He won the "Britains Got Talent" competition, and then we didnt hear anything of him again.

Every show I was hoping he would win so that he could get his teeth sorted out. He was just a mobile phone salesman before he entered the competition, if I remember correctly, and he had a chronic lack of confidence.
