I don't think one instance of bungie jumping would cure anyone's fear of heights. :-) I am also timid of heights, but when I was in construction, I worked off of ladders and scaffolding daily. When you get a working familiarity with something, your fears go away. I only fell off of three ladders. ;-) ha ha

Yes, confronted the fear of dieing in Vietnam, where on many occasions I thought I would die but then after awhile, I just didn't give a s**t., Just wanted to make the vc & regulars die for their country. I scared the s**t of many newbies there as I had no sense of humor and was somewhat psychotic and psycopathic did not give a crap just wanted to go hunting if you know what I mean. Took a long time to recover from it, still haven't been afraid of dieing. Everyone at one time or another is going to do it and this live forever bulls**t is just that. The end is around the corner but what we don't know the corner the jdubs speak of has been thousands of years in the future for the 1st century christians and will be 1000s of years in the future for us too. IMO of course.

A young man went on a tour of Spain. Passing through a town he asked a local about the best restaurant in the village. He said there was one right next to the bullfighting arena in the center of town.
The man walked into town and found the restaurant just where the man told him. He went in and ordered the "House Special". The waiter smiled and congratulated him on his choice. A while later, the waiter delivers a covered tray, places it on the table in front of him, and removes the cover. Inside are two big brown lumps. The waiter says, "In America, you call these the oysters". They are from the bullfight today in the arena next door. The young man was a bit repulsed, but sliced into one and took a bite anyway. It was fantastic, the best food he had ever tasted.
The man left the restaurant, vowing to return before he left Spain. A couple of weeks later, he was back at the restaurant and ordered the "House Special" again. Again the waiter came to his table with the covered platter. This time when he lifts the cover, there are only two small brown lumps on the platter. The young man was confused, and asked the waiter for an explanation. The waiter didn't hesitate, and said, "Senior', somedays the bull wins". -
