Surely that's unfair dismissal - and the fact that the reason is in a text message is solid evidence, what complete eejits!!
Sound like you're well shut of her for now at least - she doesn't seem to have two brain cells to rub together let alone a conscience! You don't need heavy, useless baggage like that.

I feel you My ex- best friend and I been through everything together. When I told her plans for life which didnt include being a JW she shut me down. Like all those years didnt mean a damn thing. Its crazy like there really was no emotion nor connection nada.

I never cease to be amazed.. and at the same time not by these stories. I feel your pain!
My Witness Best friend of 20+ years told me that if I were to remarry (I am currently divorced) she felt in all conscience she could not attend the wedding as she was worried 'how it would look' to others. She hoped I understood.
I didn't, and now we are no longer friends. I was sad for a while, but life is short, and there are a lot of lovely genuine people out there (and on here) to have real friendship with.
Having recently made your virtual acquaintance and seen what a lovely person you are... it's clearly her loss.
