A well-reasoned, calmly-toned letter. I'm so pleased that your letter was published.
As stated earlier, sometimes I cringe at the tone evident in some letters to the editor written by ex-JWs, especially from those who have been really hurt by their JW-experience. While I understand the hurt, their message unintentionally comes across as unhinged and emotional and the good points they otherwise make are often lost. They alienate so many potential readers.
By contrast, your letter is simply sensible and anyone with a few brain cells will be appropriately disturbed by the rational message.
