No you don’t. You have been posting on is board way to long and you are way too intelligent to “wonder” about your or anyone else’s salutation that may come off as a little different.
Most people here still hear any greeting besides hi, hello, or hey as “good morning my name is so and so and I’m out with a group of other Christians” yadda yadda yadda, would you like to buy our god products?

who is it that caused you to "react" with this thread? Also, saying "peace" doesn't mean there will be peace. It's no more meaningful than any other habitual greeting. We all say "goodbye" which comes from "god be with you." It is just a courtesy, not a statement of personal beliefs.

To hortensMisguided and dawgMisguided: I actually know Aguest personally. I've spent several days with her over the years. She is full of grace and love and generosity and she is simply fun to hang out with. Are some of her beliefs wacko? Yeah. At least I think so. But Shelby is bigger than her beliefs. She LIVES them. And her expression in her life is exactly what Christ taught. I know this firsthand.
