This is when I wish the Legal Department would take over. They know the real money is in congregation dontations and us becoming mainstream. College obviously is a key player.

    Dear Tooktheredpill,

WELCOME to the forum!! We are happy to have you here! And we are so glad you are doing your best to help those young ones make the right decision to further their education. As a witness, my husband and I could never understand their reasoning. Most HAVE to work 8 hours a day..so why not make as much as you can during that 8 hours? We reasoned the same as you.

We have all had our financial good times and bad times. When you are stressed about making ends meet, it certainly puts alot more pressure on the whole family, not to mention the marriage arrangement. Many wives have to work instead of being at home moms etc..all because their are just trying to make it.

How could having a better education, making more money to provide for your needs, recreation, etc possibly be wrong? I think they want you to be broke so you will be emotionally spent. That way you wil be emotionally needy and will turn to them for direction, not God, because you are too stressed to try and figure things out. Not to mention doing any research.

    Sincerely,

    Lady Liberty

It is always the young ones who fall for the emotional appeal.
