  Ok, just foudn this forum, been left the JW's 11 years now and never looked back, I am a male 46 from the UK, while being a JW I was depressed and had no real goals in life, except what they wanted.

  Now I have been at college these last 3 years, got a teaching qualification and now doing a degree, oh and I also have my youngest son who is 10, enagaging in motorcycle racing, another no no for them JW's.

  And hey he leaves two expensive motorcycle in the paddock most times unattended and dfoes anyone steal them, nope, hmm seems that JW's do not have the monoploy on hoesty, not that many of then are that anyways.

  Welcome to the board, Hipraptor. I'm also 46 but from the USA, and grew up as a JW. I have been out of the organization 7 years myself, and have only looked back to remember how crazy it all was.

  This board is a great place to come and find folks who understand the feeling of being inside that organization, and also you can use terms like great crowd, ministerial servant, and circuit assembly without having to explain them! You'll even find unique terms like "Borg" and "Theocraptic Misery School" and "Field Circus" here!

  Glad to see you have found this site. Glad to find that you are healthy and have moved on from your days as a JW. I have just started and finding things very difficult, but I hope to get sorted out. I am a few years behind you so you have given me hope.

  Pleased your little one is doing something constructive. Can’t beat riding a bike. Did it in my time away from the truth the first time. Good hobby. But as you say, he would never have done it in the org.

  I’m from the UK as well so doing that kind of sport is even harder hear. So good for you…..
