Isn't anyone going to state the obvious? Phone the local Kingdom Hall, give them her name and address and arrange for a free home bible study.

That's worth more than 20 calls to the cops.

Are they going to discover that
you are wanted, or did you always get away without leaving a fingerprint?

Heehee, I'm too smart for that...that's why it'll come out clean.

    Hmmm, not a bad idea...lol

Actually, the car thing did upset me a tiny bit but getting my new job out weighed it so I'm still in a very good mood. I am taking the paint that her car left on my car off and putting it in a baggy because one of my friends found a car that hit his and that's what he did. He was able to take the paint in and prove it was the car that hit him and he got his car paid.

Actually, I'm not too worried about the scratches...it's more of the point than the scratches. If she had left a note on my car I would have contacted her and worked something out. Oh well. Not much manners in this world anymore.

Document, Document, and Document so more, get pictures, call the management company, are you at an apartment complex or ??? Try and get the info from her, with the plates #'s and get the vin too its seeable through the front windshield drivers side and then give that to the insurance company also. Call the police again and see if they can find out for you if she has insurance as it should be documented at the DMV. Some neighbors are really the pits. Get a picture of them getting in and out of their cars holding beer bottles/cans and if you have a camera that date stamps the pictures that is proof also of their being at the least a hazard to the rest of the residences.

Well, I found her car and it was who I had expected. She's got a nice scratch on her front bumper with some of my silver paint on her car. I did take pictures and even took some of the red paint off my car and put it in a baggy. I wrote her a note that said basically this...

    Dear neighbor,

I believe you side swiped my car and I now have scratches that I would like to get fix. I have your license number but I wanted to give you a chance to call me so maybe we can see what we need to do. Please call me at xxx-xxxx to let me know what you would like to do. Thanks

I tried to be a nice as I could but also wanted to hint in there that I will be taking futher actions if she doesn't call.

Ok, the damages aren't THAT bad. I took it to a body shop and they said it would be about $500. to fix. If she would call me and pay the money, I will not have her to put this on her insurance. If only she would call. If she doesn't, I will get the police again (because it's already recorded) when she's home and get them to get the insurance info. I'll give her until the end of the weekend to get in touch with me.
